Primal tea

For me the thought of eggs poached in bone broth for dinner isn't an appealing thought. Going primal or paleo needn't be a complete u turn from your family faves. Tonight we had a simple tea of sausage and chips. Pre primal days it would have been supermarket spuds (one of the most toxic of the commercial veggies) chipped and baked in the oven with crappy supermarket (lips n a hole) sausages probably served with baked beans (legumes in sugar).

These days however it's grass fed organic lamb sausages from Shipleys, organic sweet potatoes coated in olive oil and sprinkled with pink salt. The salad is from our little veggie patch with some home grown micro herbs too. Us humans are used to getting microbes from the soil and they are a really good source of probiotics. So get your hands dirty in the soil and breath deeply when gardening, it's doing your gut good. Don't be too worried about washing the leaves too much. I just rinse the sand (and any slugs etc off).

I served this with some Quirky thermie balsamic onions which was in the fridge and voila a stress free wholesome primal tea.

This is how it looked
